Ok. this is cool. An interactive flash chat room where you control a pengiun and waddle around - it's actually been done quite well. A total waste of time, yet somehow it's actually addictive. Maybe its just me :P

I am afraid (3.00 / 4) (#2)

This site scares the hell of out me.

And, I kid you not, I logged on for 3 minutes, and did, in fact, see someone ask "Are thhere any girls in the house?" Just like that. I chose to take it as an ironic commentary on the nature of chatting.

I know that's what it had to be.

After being on for about as long, I saw someone trolling for www.goatse.cx. People are weird....

Yeah, pathetic I know. The penguin noises are great for disturbing the office though.

Interesting technology, but, personally, as long as the Home Shopping Network and Judge _____ (Judy, Mills Lane, Hatchett, and others ad infinitum) are still on, I'm not bored enough for the the waddling, talking, "are-you-a-girl?" penguin schtick.

this should have had "paperclips" (you know the microsoft help paperclip?) instead of penguins.

Damn penguins. Damn snowmobile. I can't get in, but the others can. Damn penguins. What the hell is up with the fireworks? This site is evil. Avoid at all costs. Will suck your brain like a zombie with lockjaw. Oh yeah, I'd prefer little devils to penguins any day.

This is awesome! (2.00 / 2) (#12)

Very cool...if I didn't have an Eco-Gen paper due soon, I'd probably end up spending the next half hour just wandering about.

What would make a better subject for a paper than studying penguins in their natural habitat?

Flash can do this? (none / 0) (#20)
by enthalpyX on Sat Oct 14, 2000 at 07:56:03 PM EST

How exactly does this work? I mean -- there must be some sort of central server running that the "Flash client" (?) connects to? Man. I never had any idea Flash could do TCP/IP. *seeks enlightenment*
