With all the recent interest on the US electoral system that the readership here has shown, I think it is very healthy to look at how things are done in other countries. Radio Canada has the latest debate between 5 of the candidates for Prime Minister in RealVideo, plus coverage.

Here is a link to the interactive (wooh!) two hour English language debate (for the three or four you that will actually watch it).

Here's is something to consider, if this debate was held under the American guidelines, three of the five political parties would have been excluded because they are polling at under 15%.
