Now that we've got this brand-spanking-new MLP section, I thought I'd announce the launch of a new non-profit Scoop-based site hosted here in New Haven called Babel.org. It's a Jewish discussion site, but we welcome all forms of religious discussion and discourse. Of course, since it's a Scoop site, you pick the stories.

It's good to see more sites based on Scoop. It's a great weblog engine, as compard to Slashcode.

a non-geek weblog! (3.20 / 5) (#3)

It's refreshing to see a non-geek -technical -slashdot-rip-off (apologies to Rusty: you know I don't really believe that) weblog. Maybe I'll tell my university Hillel about it.

Religious Weblogs at least generate discussion (3.00 / 2) (#7)
by Alorelith on Mon Sep 18, 2000 at 09:06:33 PM EST

I must say I'm always willing to participate in any religious debates on these types of weblogs. I remember getting into huge philosophical conversations with people on IRC (which is generally easier than weblogs methinks), and I really want to hone my skills further! They are especially great if the flames are kept to a small cinder. I must say that I'm always amazed at the amount of debate created by any mention of religious debate, which is why I really like religious talk. I might not agree with it, but hell, it's usually a good read (if the people who are discussing actually provide good information and reasons as to why or why not it's positive).

On a side note, the text fields in the latest Linux Mozilla builds are REALLY slow!</p?
