US Military Readies New RF-Jamming Tech

The US military is set to move into a prototyping stage for the development of a wide variety of RF jamming equipment. Details here. The technology includes adaptive components -- effectively a decentralized network of cells which would identify and then jam enemy communications. Apparently this technology would be deployed in urban areas throughout the US, as military planners feel future wars will be fought in isolated (urban?) areas and not on a wide scale.

The article says that a contractor is selling this idea to the military. It is bogus and has not been adopted.
This is my opinion. I am not liable for any disclosed information.
