It appears that Level3 had some routing problems earlier today, thus k5 was down. When I tracerouted it, packets started failing at the level3 colo#2 router. yay. Anyway, its back up now.

I've been trying to get on K5 the whole day, and wondering what happened. I feared it was going to be another DoS attempt or something equally bad... *phew*

Maybe I'm just being paranoid :-P

I figured it was either Ayn Randites trying to shut up the Chomskyites, Chomskyites trying to shut up the Randites, or some guy that was pissed over Rusty's trolling yesterday.

Actually, given that Code Red could crash routers, it could have been one of the above...

The idea of a global village is wrong, it's more like a gazillion pub bars.
